Bulz

Bulzul is a traditional Romanian dish made with cooked mămăliguță that is molded into balls and filled with cheese. These can then be grilled, pan-fried or baked until crispy.

The most common stuffing is a combination of soft sheep’s cheese, sheep’s milk cheese, and butter. Chunks of ham are often incorporated into the stuffing to create a more balanced meal.

Bulzul is an incredibly satisfying dish and worth trying during your motorcycle trip. If you eat once a traditional bulz, made on the sheepfold, you’ll never forget the taste.
